Sunset Family Photos in Sarasota & Manatee County
There’s nothing like Gulf Coast light at golden hour. Sunset sessions wrap your family in warm, glowing color you simply can’t fake.
Timed to the best light of the day
A sunset session is all about the window — usually the 45 minutes before the sun touches the horizon. We plan your arrival around it down to the minute so we make the most of that soft, golden glow before it fades.
Beach, park, or wherever you love
Sunset portraits shine on the beach, but they’re just as magical at a bayfront park or open field. Wherever the western sky is open, we can chase the light — and we know the spots across Sarasota and Manatee where it lands just right.

Sunset Family Photos FAQs
What exactly is “golden hour”?
It’s the roughly one-hour stretch after sunrise or before sunset when the sun is low and the light is warm and soft. For families, the evening golden hour into sunset is the most popular and flattering.
Won’t the kids be tired by sunset?
We keep sunset sessions short and playful, and the light window is brief by design. Most kids do great — and a little ice cream afterward never hurts.
What happens after the sun goes down?
The few minutes after sunset (“blue hour”) can produce stunning, soft-toned images too. We’ll often grab a few more frames as the sky changes color.
